In anticipation of the record-low temperatures expected Wednesday, Jan. 30, Aurora Public Library (APL) will remain open to provide warming centers for its surrounding community. Although APL will remain open during normal business hours, and would like to ensure the safety of its staff members, there will be limited services available.

Here’s what to expect: Santori Library hours will be 9 a.m. to  8 p.m. with only its atrium open. Available will be newspapers and magazines as well as comfortable seating.

The Eola Road Branch will be closed, but the building is open on the Park District side for those who need to keep warm. West Branch will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; for check-out materials or to use our computers.

The Bookmobile will be off road until Friday, Feb. 1. For updates on the Library’s hours, and services please visit our website at aurorapubliclibrary.org and/or follow us on social media @APLibraryIL
