The City of Aurora government will host a Smart Cycling course for its residents Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City of Aurora Public Works Building, 2185 Liberty St., Aurora.
The course includes a 90-minute online class plus the in-person bicycle ride session May 30. Participants are expected to complete the 90-minute online course at least a day before the in-person bicycle ride session May 30. The in-person session includes parking lot drills and a ride through Aurora streets and trails.
The in-person course is administered through a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) certified by the League of American Bicyclists organization.
Participants must be 18 years or older. Participants should bring their own bicycle. Helmets are required by all participants.
