In honor of National Reading Month, this month’s preschoolers at The Goddard School in Aurora collected 582 books in one month for their seventh annual Goddard Cares Book Drive! The books will be donated to Bernie’s Book Bank, a leading provider of quality books to at-risk children in the Chicagoland area. Aurora teamed with 19 other Goddard Schools throughout the Chicago area, where they collected 25,903 books to donate to the charity this year!
To show even more support, The Goddard School in Aurora will be host to fun activities throughout the month to promote the book drive such as school wide book counting and book door decorating.
