Administer Justice, a nonprofit legal aid provider, will sponsor a fundraiser walk, “Between a Walk and a Hard Place”, Saturday, Sept. 26, starting at 9 a.m. at Chapelstreet Church, 3435 Keslinger Rd., Geneva.
The family-friendly event invites individuals, families, churches, businesses and community groups to participate in either a 2K or 5K walks. The event is designed to raise awareness and support for neighbors who find themselves between a rock and a hard place because of a legal problem.
Administer Justice operates a growing network of 115 Gospel Justice Centers, including 17 locations across Kane County. Those locations serve several hundred local residents each year, providing affordable legal assistance and compassionate support to people facing challenges involving family, housing, immigration, consumer issues, employment, and other civil legal matters.
