Erik Blome, sculptor and owner of Figurative Art Studio in Woodstock, Ill., left, is at work with his assistant, Grant Patterson, to restore the bronze plaques and statues recently on the New York Street Bridge in downtown Aurora. In October, Blome was in Winnipeg, Canada for the installation of his Dale Hawerchuk bronze statue at Canada Life Arena. Hawerchuk was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach who played in the National Hockey League for 16 seasons as a member of the Jets, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, and Philadelphia Flyers.Jason Crane/The Voice
