Bug Fest will be back and bigger than previously from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 at Red Oak Nature Center, 1385 N. River Road, North Aurora. Tickets must be purchased this year to enter Bug Fest which will include games, activities, and inflatables. Participating agencies will have bug-themed activities. Investigation stations will provide searches for bugs in the pond, prairie, or woodlands.
Concessions are available at Red Oak Nature Center. Shuttle buses will run from Schneider Elementary School to Lippold Park in North Aurora. Attendees can purchase a premium parking pass for one vehicle. Each pass will guarantee the holder one parking spot at Lippold Park during the hours of 9 a.m. and noon on Bug Fest August 21.
