Voting rights has been a hot topic these days. But along with voting rights comes the responsibility to vote. Many individuals chose not to vote because they do not know enough about those candidates running for office.
The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County will hold candidate forums to provide an avenue to learn about our community candidates and help residents make an informed decision. This year they will hold a candidate forum in Sugar Grove at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Sugar Grove Township Community Building at 141 Main Street.
Sugar Grove residents will have the opportunity to hear from candidates for three contested races: Sugar Grove Fire Protection District, Waubonsee Community College Board, and the Village of Sugar Grove Board.
