Car parades for graduating students

Graduates in the Class of 2020 from Plano High School participate in a recent parade. The parade began in the parking lot at Plano High School, crossed Route 34 to ride through the South Side of Plano, turned east on Route 34 to ride in Lakewood South, crossed Route 34 to ride in Lakewood North, and ended in the vicinity of Waubonsee Community College Plano location. It was a day of celebration for Plano graduates Class of 2020 as many spectators were along the parade route cheering for them. There were many smiles from the grads and onlookers, the weather was beautiful, graduates made plenty of noise with horns and other noise-makers. They did an awesome job decorating their vehicles. Students, parents, and friends of Hall Elementary School in Aurora celebrate with a drive-by parade recently. Aurora police provided an escort. West Aurora High School seniors held a farewell drive-by parade at the school. Other schools in the parade were Herget, Jewel, Jefferson, and Washington Middle Schools. Al Benson photo
