Casino evacuated in Aurora

New York Street in downtown Aurora was blocked at Broadway Tuesday for bomb evacuation at Hollywood Casino

An adult male entered the Hollywood Casino in downtown Aurora on New York Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. and had an interaction with an employee in which he made statements that the employee perceived were threatening in nature.
The employee alerted Casino security and security called 911.
As a precaution, the Casino, the valet parking deck across the street, and adjoining businesses to the Casino were evacuated.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad personnel went to search the vehicle the man drove to the Casino.
The man who made the perceived threats is in custody.
