League of Women Voters Central Kane County holds a candidate forum for Aurora Ward 1 alderman and alderman-at-large Tuesday at Aurora Police Department. The moderator was 20-year league member Patti Lackman. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, issue oriented organization which never endorses candidates. The Ward 1 candidates are Peter Aguilera, Emmanuel Llamas, Caryl Riley, Amanda Sperzel. Alderman-at-large candidates are Sherman Jenkins, Brooke Shanley, and Durrell Williams. The League of Women Voters Central Kane County will provide three Aurora aldermanic forums in March along with forums in Geneva and St. Charles

  Forums in Aurora: • Ward 1 and at-large candidates, Tuesday, Mar. 5 at 7:30 p.m.. (Note time change to 7:30 p.m. due to 6 p.m. State of the City event) • Wards 5 and 6 candidates, Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 7 p.m.. • Ward 8 candidates, Monday, Mar. 18
