If Frank Patterson’s letter in the January 7 issue of The Voice, “Comment on greetings at Christmas” goes unanswered, then (commentator) Rush Limbaugh’s observation is accurate: “The general population doesn’t know what is happening and it doesn’t even know it doesn’t know.”

Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, criticized Western countries for abandoning Christian roots.

Such a statement from prominent leaders should be taken seriously. If not, our country is on a continuing route to chaos. Mr. Patterson’s opinion shows disrespect for our religious traditions....

Dominion Voting Systems, widely used in this country, was founded in 2002 by two Canadians who currently own Dominion in partnership with Staple Street Capital, a New York-based private equity firm with questionable connections which invested in Dominion in 2018. Canada is a radically liberal country. Many Canadians would love to see Republicans defeated in the U.S. Why the heck are we using election software from a country biased against conservatism? Why the heck aren’t we using American software for American elections?...

President Donald Trump fraudulently denies their win with the big lie that he won the election by a landslide. He told his supporters over and over that he had won and that Biden was stealing it from him. He ginned up his followers to a fever pitch at his January 6 rally, then sent them to the Capitol to “take back their country”, even turning them on his vice president Mike Pence for whom they built a gallows to hang him. Five others died as a result of their insurrection....
