Plano American Legion Post #395: Improvements, Halloween event
The Plano American Legion Post #395 is updating their Legion building from a grant approved from Home Depot. They have painted the upstairs hall, updated the washrooms, and laid new flooring upstairs. Further improvements will be made in the downstairs meeting hall and bar, replacing doors, and repairing the roof.

Help available for veterans to modify homes
State representative Stephanie Kifowit (D-Oswego) is proud to announce the passage of groundbreaking legislation aimed at easing the financial burden on disabled veterans who need to modify their homes to accommodate their disabilities. Senate Bill 2751, which Kifowit sponsored, received unanimous support in the House, where it passed May 15.
