The YMCA and Naperville Park District, through the generous support of community donors and volunteers, will continue the annual tradition of providing a special Christmas meal for Naperville seniors and families in need. Volunteers will deliver meals to the homes of Naperville seniors and families on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 23. Reheating instructions for meals will be provided.
To make a meal reservation, contact Nigel Quick at nquick@ymcachicago.org or at 630-748-1228 and provide your name, home address, phone number, email and the number of meals needed.
There is a maximum of two meals per household. Those interested in receiving a meal are encouraged to make a reservation as soon as possible, because reservations may fill prior to the December 14 deadline. Recipients must be Naperville residents and must be at home Saturday, December 23 between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon to receive their meal.
Donations to help support this annual holiday initiative are being sought from community members. To make a donation, visit www.napervilleparks.org and select the online registration link. From there, click on the “Donations” tab at the top of the webpage; there is a link for the Community Christmas Meal.
