Aurora Greek orthodox churches will bless the Fox River at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at RiverEdge Park pedestrian bridge, 360 N. Broadway in Aurora.
Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church and St. Athanasius Romanian Orthodox Church both in Aurora, will be partners in a Feast of Theophany service.
Theophany, in western Christianity, commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child, and thus Jesus Christ’s physical manifestation to the gentiles.
