Crossway Chapel Aurora Church will be host to a grand opening worship service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23. Crossway meets at Temple B’Nai Israel, 400 N. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora.

The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. Pastor Brent Logan will preach on “Handling Life’s Sticky Situations.”

A children’s program, bible study groups and nursery are offered. Refreshments will be served after the worship service.

Pastor Logan said in a mailing, “At Crossway Chapel Aurora, a new church, you will find upbeat, relevant services with people who don’t have it all together. This is not for perfect people.

“We’re exploring God’s instruction manual and practical tools to help bring healing, build strong families and put our hectic lives in balance.”

Pastor Logan has served two churches, including most recently Crossway Chapel Fox Valley, North Aurora, where he conducted a children’s ministry. He produces “Ask Yourself” and “Crossway Kidz,” online ministries.

In addition to Pastor Logan, other church leaders are Pastor Steve Mainka, staff pastor and children’s director; and Courtney Mainka, administrator.
