The Aurora Area Retired Teachers Association (AARTA) is sponsoring a benefit bus trip to the Chicago Cubs, at Milwaukee Brewers baseball game Sunday, Aug. 28, in Milwaukee.
Dubbed “Strike Out Hunger,” the outing is a fundraiser for Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry in Aurora. Individuals and families are invited. A potluck tailgate party will be held at the park. Participants are asked to bring a dish to pass. Tickets are $100 each.
The bus will depart door 15 at East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane in Aurora, at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 for a 1:10 p.m. first pitch in Milwaukee.
