Dale Berman, president of the North Aurora Village Board, discusses proposed recreational cannabis business regulations at the Village Board Committee of the Whole meeting Monday. The proposed 1,000-foot buffer of school district property for recreational cannabis dispensaries includes 1,000 feet for the advertisement of cannabis products. The Board agreed to not renew its membership with the Southwest Fox Valley Cable Consortium and to record Village Board meetings on its own and forego the public, educational and governmental (PEG) access on a Comcast channel.
