The newly-formed Diabetes Club of Fox Valley (DCFV) will hold its first membership meeting of the year, Thursday, Jan. 12, at the historic Gray’s Mill Estate, 211 N. River Street, Montgomery.
Meetings are held in the Second Floor Banquet Room. Dinner is on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meetings will begins at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley was founded October 13, 2022. DCFV has 40 members working to bring about an awareness of diabetes, while raising funds to provide aid, education, and research to find a cure.
Club members are raising funds to help the seven-year-old, Type 1 diabetic twins, Jackson and Elliot Webster obtain their first Diabetic Alert Dog (DAD). The cost to train a (DAD) is approximately $16,000. The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley has raised close to $6,000.
