The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley was founded October 1, 2022, by 15 individuals who wanted to bring about an awareness of diabetes, provide aid and education for diabetics, while investing in research to find a cure.
The founders wanted the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley to be a true grassroots organization, that would represent the entire Fox Valley area, where all monies raised through dues, donations and fundraising would be used for the Club’s fight against diabetes.
Fighting diabetes starts with making everyone in the Fox Valley area aware of diabetes and prediabetes, and how uncontrolled blood sugar (glucose) can cause vision, heart, and dental problems, along with nerve and kidney damage.
Diet and exercise are two of the most powerful tools we all have to help control our blood glucose. Eat healthy, stay active, and have a yearly blood test, to stay diabetes-free!

The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley meets monthly, January through November on the second Wednesday, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meetings are held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s annual gala dinner, “Light the Way for a Cure”, set for Friday, Nov. 6, at the Lincoln Inn, 1345 South Batavia Avenue, in Batavia.
Don’t miss an incredible evening featuring: Live entertainment by Phoenixx Band, dancing, raffles, silent auction, dinner, drinks, and a night of fun!
Tickets: $85 per person. Table of 10 for $800.
