Dolan and Murphy takes 14-8 to Pontiac Tournament

Dolan and Murphy fastpitch softball team was 2-2 last weekend in LaCrosse, Wis..
In Sunday’s single elimination, Dolan lost, 7-0. Jared Hauraki was the losing pitcher. Robert Reder and Dave Schuett produced the only hits.
Dolan and Murphy’s record is 14-8. Dolan will play through the weekend in a tournament in Pontiac.
Dolan opened up against host LaCrosse Wis. and won, 4-0. Hauraki was the winning pitcher and gave up one hit and struck out 14 batters. Dave Perkins had two hits and one RBI, Trent Kress and Kyle Pittman each had two hits.
Dolan was defeated by highly-rated Circle Tap, 8-0. Hauraki was the losing pitcher and Mick Baker led the offense with two hits.
Dolan and Murphy defeated the Bar Buzz of Appleton, Wis., 5-2. Hannon Hoani was the winning pitcher and Dave Perkins and had two RBIs, and Mick Baker had two hits, one home run, and two RBIs. Reder and Schuett each had two hits.
Dolan and Murphy finished 4-1 recently in Davenport, Iowa.
In a semifinal game Dolan lost to a combination team from Bloomington and Circle Tap, 9-0. Hauraki was the losing pitcher. Reder and Hauraki had the only hits for Dolan.
Dolan defeated Walcott, Iowa, 13-3, in its first game. Hauraki was the winning pitcher and Hannon Hoani had three hits and three RBIs.
Next game Dolan defeated the Quad City Bullets, 10-1, with Hauraki the winning pitcher. Reder had three hits, one home run, and three RBIs. Mick Baker had three hits and two RBIs.
Dolan finished Saturday with a 10-9 victory over the Winterset A’s. Hoani was the winning pitcher in relief of Hauraki. John Schweighart had three hits, with one home run, and drove in three runs. Baker had a home run and three RBIs, Dave Schuett and Kyle Pittman each had two hits and one RBI.
Sunday in the single elimination portion of the tournament, Dolan won 4-1 over Davenport. Hauraki was the winning pitcher in relief of Hoani. Baker had two hits, Hoani had two hits and two RBIs to lead the offense.
