Aurora’s Dunham Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to the Aurora Lions Club Foundation.

Susan Koepke, Lions’ children’s vision program co-chair, said the grant supports the Lions’ exam program.

She explained, “This grant will support bilingual English-Spanish educational materials for parents and caregivers, along with a centralized website for vision resources and referrals.

“The grant will help trained Lions volunteers provide free monthly vision screenings for children ages six months to 16 years old on the third Saturday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the children’s department at Santori Aurora Public Library, 101 S. River St., Aurora. No appointment is necessary.”
