East Aurora NJROTC achieves more excellence

The East Aurora School District 131 NJROTC unit once again has achieved excellence at the John Wargo Hubbard Drill Meet recently. The Meet is the premier Spring Meet held in Chicago.

East Aurora’s teams competed against an all-Army field. All cadets and coaches did a good job. They received congratulations for their commitment to excellence!

Individual cadet awards were:

  • 1st place – Unarmed Knockout (Stephanie Sanchez);
  • 2nd Place – Unarmed Duel (Nayeli Diaz, Alondra Nunez, Stephanie Sanchez, Kheyra Rivera);
  • 2nd Place – Armed Duel (Alexis Olvera, Jesus Rodriguez);
  • 2nd Place – Armed Solo (Izac Leon);
  • 10th Place – Armed Knockout (Gabriel Camacho);
    Individual unit results are as follow:
  • 1st place Armed Inspection;
  • 1st place Unarmed Inspection;
  • 1st place Armed Exhibition;
  • 1st place Armed Basic drill;
  • 2nd place Unarmed Exhibition;
  • 3rd place Unarmed Color Guard;
  • 3rd place Unarmed Basic drill.
