Elmhurst will be host to the event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27 at the Public Works Facility, 985 S Riverside Drive, Elmhurst. Acceptable electronic items include: Computers, printers, scanners, VCR and DVD players, video game consoles, cable and converter boxes, satellite receivers, keyboards, mice, holiday string lights, wires and cables, adapters, power supplies, cell phones and tablets.
CRT, Flat Screens, Projection TVs and Monitors will be accepted for $25 for screens under 21 inches and $35 for screens over 21 inches. Payment may be made in advance at http://recycling.eworksesi.org/or onsite. Large and small appliances and hazardous and chemical waste will not be accepted.
Clean, old clothing and textiles will be accepted.
