If you are still in high school, still a youngster, like as not;
That does not mean you will not have adult thoughts, quite a lot.
Most of them though you may not recognize for what they are;
But how they influence you may well carry you quite far.
By now, you know that physical maturity is gross;
For you’ve already seen the differences aren’t even close.
With that in mind, think back to when you then had seen yourself;
For that opinion nay have helped you build a self-made shelf.
And that, of course, you’d find is not the status you would seek;
A self-made shelf of any kind will make the future bleak.
So your mentality sophistication, if advanced,
Your advent into adulthood will be solidly enhanced.
