Voters in Aurora and Oswego are invited to attend online forums Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8. The League of Women Voters Aurora Area are holding the following candidate forums:
• March 7 at 6 p.m., East Aurora #131 School Board;
• March 7 at 8 p.m., Oswego District #308 School Board;
• March 8 at 6 p.m., Aurora alderman-at large and Aurora alderman for Ward 3;
• March 8 at 8 p.m., Aurora alderman for Wards 5, 6, and 8.
As of earlier in the week, all candidates for the Aurora aldermanic races and East Aurora School Board have agreed to participate in the virtual forums. All but one candidate for Oswego District #308 had agreed to participate.
The forums will be streamed live on the League of Women Voters’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LWVAuroraArea.
The forums will be recorded and available online afterward at: www.lwvauroraarea.org.
Voters are invited to submit questions to candidates by sending to lwvauroraarea@gmail.com no later than 5 p.m. on the day of the forum.
