Fourth of July Celebrations 2022 in the Greater Fox Valley area

Aurora

• RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway, and McCullough Park, Illinois Avenue and Lake Street, music, games, food, kids activities, will start at 7 p.m.. Fireworks will be Monday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m. over the Fox River with viewing at McCullough Park and RiverEdge Park.

• Fourth of July parade has been canceled and will be replaced with a procession throughout neighborhoods with lights and sirens. The procession will begin at 10 a.m. at Phillips Park.

• Bellringing at Aurora Historical Society Tanner House, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4, with activities for kids, music, and pie-eating contest.

Bartlett

• Festival July 1-July 4. Carnivals each day at 700 S. Bartlett Road. Live music each day in the afternoon and evening. Fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m. July 4.

Batavia

• The Batavia Sky Concert will start at 5 p.m. at Engstrom Park, 1298 Main Street, with food and music from Batavia Community Band. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m..

Bensenville

• LibertyFest will start with a parade at Town Center at 10 a.m. July 4. Redmond Park, 12 South Center Street, from 6 p.m to 9:30 p.m. will have food, music, and fun, until the fireworks start at dusk.

Bolingbrook

• All day activities at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive, July 4 will start at 6 p.m. with kids games, food, and live music. Fireworks will be at 9:20 p.m..

Burr Ridge

• Independence Day celebration will start at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3 in Walker Park, 7425 S Wolf Road. Fireworks at dusk.

Carpentersville

• Music at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Meadowdale Park, Besinger Drive and Maple Avenue.

Carol Stream

• A parade will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2 at County Farm and Lies Roads. Fourth of July Strawdawg concert and food trucks will take place at 6 p.m. at 960 North Gary Avenue. Fireworks will begin at 9:20 p.m..

Cary

There will be food trucks and music from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m.. Friday, July 1, at Dusk Lions Park, 1200 Silver Lake Road.

Channahon

• Saturday, July 3 a celebration will be held in Community Park. Family activities will begin at 5 p.m. along with food and fun. Fireworks will start at 9:15 p.m..

Downers Grove

• July 4 parade will start at 1 p.m. at Main Street between Sherman and Grant. Fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m. at 75th and Lemont Road.

Elburn

• Elburn Lions Park, 500 South Filmore Street Saturday, July 9. The grounds will open at 7 p.m. with concessions available and the fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m..

Elgin

• Downtown parade July 4 at 9 a.m. will start at the corner of Douglas and Slade.

• Music group The Modern Day Romeos. will play at 7 p.m. at the Festival Park in Downtown Elgin. Fireworks will be at 9:20 p.m..

Frankfort

• Forth of July Celebration will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Maine Park, 200 S. Locust Street. There will be live music, carnival games , and fireworks at dusk.

Geneva

• Fireworks at Kane County Cougars minor league baseball following 6:30 p.m. games July 1-3.

Glen Ellyn

• Food Truck Picnic at the Lake, Friday, July 1, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Lake Ellyn, 645 Lenox Road.

• The Fourth of July parade will start at Ellyn Avenue and Crescent Boulevard at noon. Fireworks at dusk.

Glendale Heights

• Glendale Heights Fest will have music, food, and fun July 13-17 at 101 E. Fullerton Avenue. Fireworks will be July 17 at 9:30 p.m..

Hinckley

• The Hinckley Fireworks Fest and Car Show will start at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, with the Decorated Bike Parade at the Hinckley-Big Rock High School, 700 E Lincoln Avenue. There will be a car show, vendors, kids rides, food trucks, live music, and fireworks at dusk.

Hoffman Estates

• Northwest Fourth-Fest will be a five-day event, June 30-July 4, with a carnival, arts and crafts, rides, food. A parade will be July 2 at 9 a.m. at Illinois Boulevard, with fireworks July 3 at 9:30 p.m. at Sears Centre Arena grounds, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway.

Huntley

• Fireworks will be July 4 at Deicke/Warrington Park at dusk.

Itasca

• Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. July 4 at Hamilton Lakes, 1133 N. Arlington Heights Road. Food, music, and fun. Fireworks at 10 p.m.

Joliet

• The Fourth of July Fireworks Show will take place at Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Road. The grounds will open at 9 p.m.. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m..

Lisle

• July 3 music will start at 5:30 p.m. at Lisle Park District’s Van Kampen Stage. Fire works will be at 9:30 p.m..

• The Fourth of July parade will be July 4, at 10 a.m. starting from Lisle Junior High School, 5207 Center Avenue.

Lockport

• The fireworks will begin July 3 at dusk at Dellwood Park, IL-171 & Woods Drive.

Lombard

• Fireworks will take place in Madison Meadow Park, Madison Street and Ahrens Avenue, July 4 at 9:30 p.m..

Naperville

• Naperville Salute will be July 1-4 at Rotary Hill with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. July 3. There will be live music, food, and family fun. Fireworks will be July 3 at 9:30 p.m. at Frontier Sports Complex, 3380 Cedar Glade Drive.

New Lenox

• July 4, Whiskeyfist band will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.and the Joliet American Legion Band will play patriotic tunes during the fireworks at dusk at the New Lenox Commons.

North Aurora

• Independence Day celebration will start at 5 p.m. at Riverfront Park, behind the Village Hall, Sunday, July 3. Attendees are encouraged to bring food and seating. Fireworks at dusk

• The Taste of Oak Brook will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 3 at the Polo Grounds off of 31st Street between Spring and York Roads. Fireworks at dusk.

Oswego

• Saturday, July 2, Venue 1012, 1012 Station Drive, will have a free concert starting at 6 p.m.. July 4 fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. at the Prairie Point Park.

Ottawa

• Fireworks will be shot off at dusk July 4 over the Illinois River. Best viewing will be at Ottawa Township High School, 211 E. Main Street.

Plainfield

• Lakewood Falls will hold fireworks at 9 p.m. July 4, at Bruce Ponti Park.

• Picnic, games, and music, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 3 at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, followed by fireworks at dusk.

Roselle

• Sunday, July 3 at Lake Park High School West, 500 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue. Music and food trucks at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

St. Charles

• Picnicking, mini-golf, golf, swimming, and special concert at Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Avenue, from 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. July 4. Fireworks will be at dusk.

Sandwich

• The Sandwich Fairgrounds will be the start of a parade Saturday, July 2 at 10 a.m.. Fireworks at dusk.

Schaumburg

• The Schaumburg Boomers baseball stadium, 1999 Springinsguth Road, will have fireworks July 2-4 after 6 p.m. games.

Sleepy Hollow

• Fireworks will take place July 2 at dusk at at Sabatino Park. July 4 Events will start at 8 a.m. with a one-mile fun run at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School followed by a fishing derby at Lake Sharon at 9 a.m.. Food and entertainment at Sabatino Park at 10:30 a.m., parade at 11:30 a.m.,

South Elgin

• Parade at West Spring Street and Wedgewood Drive July 4 at 10 a.m..

Villa Park

• The Villa Park Independence Day Parade will step off at 10 a.m. July 4, going west on Central to Harvard.

Warrenville

• The parade will be at 6 p.m. July 3 and go south on Warren Avenue and end at Woodland Road. After the parade there will be food, games,and entertainment at Cerny Park from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.. July 4 there will be more food, games, entertainment at Cerny Park from noon until the fireworks at dusk.

Westmont

• Food, games, drinks, and music will start at 4 p.m. July 4 at Ty Warner Park, 800 North Blackhawk Drive. Fireworks at dusk.

Wheaton

• A family fun event will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 3 in Graf Park, 1701 Manchester Road, with fireworks at dusk.

• The Fourth of July parade will take place July 4 and will step off at 10 a.m. on Front Street, one block south of Adams Park.

• Southwest Community Concert Band will perform a patriotic concert at the Cantigny Park First Division Museum Plaza, 1s151 Winfield Road, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Concert is free, but parking is $10..

Yorkville

• July 4 parade at 9 a.m. will start at Yorkville High School. Games, food, and music to follow at Town Square Park will begin after the parade. Fireworks will be shot near Route 47 and Countryside Parkway at dusk.
