All year long it is important to support small businesses and Geneva has small businesses aplenty. Although the world is struggling with the Coronavirus, individuals still will want and need to purchase items. Frequenting a small business may be a good way to go.

Retailers in Geneva have a passion for what they are selling, or cooking. Their knowledge of their products is incredible. At these singular shops and restaurants, many family-owned and -operated owners are on hand to talk about their products. The variety of businesses is large and often highly-specialized.

.Geneva has more than 140 shops and restaurants in historic buildings. Many of these buildings are former homes. Shoppers’ homes may be cozy, personalized, and comfortable. That is what shoppers will find visiting Geneva shops for carry-out, or, dining outside.

“Like many of us, local shops, restaurants, inns, service providers and even non-profits have had a challenging year,” said Laura Rush, communications manager for the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
