The City of Aurora government was host to the inaugural German Flag Raising-Ceremony, October 3, in recognition of the day and the heritage of Germans in Aurora. Many community members celebrated the occasion and to prepare for Aurora to play host to the new Christkindlmarket Aurora. The German Flag Raising Ceremony concluded the 2022 series of flag-raisings that included ceremonies for Ireland, Pride, Juneteenth, Puerto Rico, India, and Mexico. City of Aurora government photo
