Girl Scouts will start the 2021–22 Girl Scout Cookie Program with online sales beginning Monday, Dec. 13. Digital Cookie 8.0 allows Girl Scouts to take electronic orders for cookies. Customers can order and pay for cookies online and have the option to have the cookies sent directly to them (handling charges apply), have a Girl Scout offer contactless delivery of cookies to their door, or donate cookies (with no additional handling fees). New this year, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois will offer free handling on all direct orders of 10 or more packages placed December 17–18.
If customers would like to have Girl Scout Cookies for holiday gift-giving, or for themselves, they should tell the Girl Scout in their lives to send an E-mail from their personalized website as soon as possible! For those who do not know a Girl Scout, can send an E-mail cookies4you@girlscoutsni.org to connect with local entrepreneurs who would love to add you to their customer lists!
Digital Cookie 8.0 is an innovative and educational web-based addition to the cookie program that helps Girl Scouts run and manage their cookie businesses online. Now in its eighth year, Digital Cookie brings Girl Scout programming into the future by providing invaluable business and science experience, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills that prepare them for next century leadership.
Girl Scouts will take cookie orders safely in-person, and online, from January 5–29, 2022. A new Girl Scout Cookie premiers this season in Adventurefuls™, an indulgent, brownie-inspired cookie with caramel flavored crème and a hint of sea salt.
