Poem: Go Fly A Kite

You don’t have to read Mary Poppins to cite
The pleasure you get just from flying a kite.
Of course, you would hope for a rather stiff breeze
To have it get airborne in a semblance of ease.
You also found out your kite needed a tail,
Without it, your kite would do nothing but fail.
But once it was up there, your spirits would soar,
Like nothing you’d ever experienced before.
So flying a kite was a mental release,
A therapy measuring pleasure and peace.
Let’s hope you are smiling, with instant recall,
Your kite being up there, and you standing tall!
