The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold its June membership meeting Thursday, June 8, at the historic Gray’s Mill Estate, 211 N. River Street, Montgomery.
Meetings are held in the Third Floor Banquet Room. Dinner is on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Guest speaker will be Michael Isaacson, executive director of the Kane County Health Department. Isaacson is an accomplished public health expert who has served Kane County since 2000 as the assistant director of community health, prior to becoming executive director June 14, 2022. During his career, Isaacson has helped to direct numerous public health programs, including the Country’s COVID-19 pandemic response.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with 46 dedicated individuals, who want to bring about an awareness of diabetes, provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is a true grassroots organization, where all money raised through dues, donations, and fundraising, will be used within the Fox Valley area to support the Club’s diabetic causes.
The members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley are looking forward to their first of the year Kane County Cougars Diabetes Awareness Fundraiser with fireworks, Saturday, Aug. 5, at Northwestern Medicine Field, Kirk Road, in Geneva. First pitch will be at 6:30 p.m..

Want to join our fight against diabetes? The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is offering membership in the Club through September 30 for $25. to give individuals interested in joining our fight against diabetes an opportunity to look us over, while participating in Club activities throughout the Summer months.
