The Hesed House homeless shelter front door shows the facility is closed for approximately two weeks. Approximately 200 residents of the State’s second largest shelter were moved in 10 buses to a hotel in Schaumburg Monday for safety following several residents’ testing positive for COVID-19. The State paid for renting the entire hotel. Hesed House will receive a thorough cleaning. Jason Crane/The Voice
