Hesed House provides shelter and services for an average of 200 individuals each night

Elise Manzie, assistant director of development for Hesed House shares information about the homeless shelter in Aurora at the Kiwanis Club of Aurora meeting Tuesday at the Prisco Center in Aurora. She said Hesed House provides shelter and services for an average of 200 individuals each night who can prove recent residency or employment in Aurora. Individuals have to prove recent residency or employment to receive help. If someone from out of the Aurora area shows up, they are allowed to stay for only one night.  Jason Crane/The Voice
