City of Aurora officials honor Aurora’s Sam Cervantes at the official dedication and ribbon-cutting of his new mural Hope Wings Aurora in downtown Aurora, Tuesday, Oct. 9 at La France Bakery, 118 E. Galena Boulevard. Following the ceremony, he was honored during the Aurora City Council meeting at Aurora City Hall. Mayor Richard Irvin presented Mr. Cervantes with a proclamation for his birthday February 13 to be Sam Cervantes Day in Aurora. A video of the event can be seen at facebook.com/thevoice.us.
