A sign reflects the mood in Saturday’s Women’s March in Chicago. Hundreds from the Fox Valley area, both women and men, marched in the second annual Women’s March. Estimated attendance was 300,000 after 250,000 attended in downtown Chicago last year. The march called for women’s equality, equal pay, greater access for people with disabilities, and bringing an end to sexual harassment. The title for the march was “March to the Polls”, with a call for voter registration and get out the vote for this year’s congressional elections.
