Illinois State representative Stephanie Kifowit has received the “Friend of Agriculture” award from the DuPage County Farm Bureau. Kifowit received the award at the farm bureau’s annual membership dinner at St. Andrew’s Golf Club in West Chicago on September 14.
I am honored to receive this award from the DuPage County Farm Bureau,” said Kifowit. “I recognize the importance of agriculture to the economy of Illinois, and will always do what I can to support farmers and the state’s agribusiness.”
The DuPage County Farm Bureau was created in 1913 and is one of the largest bureaus of its kind in the United States with approximately 15,000 members.
