Inaugural Winter on the Fox: Aurora’s RiverEdge Park is illuminated when the City of Aurora turns on the power of its first-year Winter on the Fox interactive light display to include special features such as larger than life-size ornaments, stars, gift boxes, and reindeer. Mayor Richard Irvin was joined by special guests to officially open Winter on the Fox during the community-lighting ceremony Friday. The ceremony included performances from high school choirs, a singing Santa Claus, and Will the Fire Flow Artist, a Metea Valley High School graduate. He helped warm up the night with an energetic fire routine including fire fans and blazing staffs. The light displays will be turned on each evening from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. through Friday, January 4, 2019. A video of the event can be seen at facebook.com/thevoice.us. Jason Crane/The Voice
