Downtown Aurora’s inaugural Cocoa Crawl Friday, Dec. 7 was a hot treat for those participating in the First Fridays event led by Aurora Downtown. At the Aurora Regional Fire Museum, Meredith Kober, left, from Aurora, and Heidi Semenek, from Oswego, receive candy canes in addition to their cocoa. Hot cocoa sampling was unlimited with $5 purchase of the blue custom Cocoa Crawl mug created by Auroran Stephanie Wheatley. All 800 mugs created were sold. Participating locations included: All Spoked Up, Aurora Art Studios, Aurora Regional Fire Museum, Branch Gardens, Endiro Coffee, PME Cake, Calla Lily Tea Room, David L. Pierce Art & History Center, Santori Public Library of Aurora, SciTech Hands On Museum, Tavern on Broadway, Tredwell Coffee, Two Brothers Roundhouse, Waubonsee Community College, Wyckwood House, and Zen Loft Wellness Center.
