Just Food Initiative of the Fox Valley will be host to a one-day farmers market from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 1855 Fifth Avenue, Aurora.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. The Church is wheelchair accessible.
The market will offer a wide range of real, clean, green, unadulterated food items including: fresh salad greens, fruit and veggie juices, organic apple butter, Greek desserts and more.
Attendees are invited to meet organic farmers and wholistic health practitioners.
The event will feature learning tents sharing information on how to stay healthy and prepare meals from fresh foods at home. Topics will include “Gut Health,” “Making Juices at Home,” “What’s Inside a Seed,” “Free Food Seeds and Seed Catalogs,” “What I Eat=What Disease I Get,” and “Keeping Carbon Pipelines off our Farms.”
