Just look at the facts and think

Dear editor;

As a mother of three children and an elementary school teacher, I often had children bring me stories that my immediate response was “Who told you that?” It was often followed by a lot of whataboutisms.

“What about Billy, he was in the fight also….” “No I am talking to you.”

America, who told you that? In our current president we have a man who is fraudulent and a con. As was said on the old Dragnet television show, “just the facts”. As a businessman he has had several bankruptcies which is for money mismanagement and has loans due soon he cannot pay. He found ways to not pay contractors and people who worked for him. His foundation was shut down for fraud and you tell me he can run the economy? The stock market he boasts of is only for 10% of Americans. Right now we are close to depression era job loss, homelessness, and hungry children.

The death toll from the virus, which he knew was deadly and conned a lot of people about, is close to the population of Aurora (200,000) and you tell me you still believe in him. He secretly laughs at and mocks those he can get to adore and follow him. He disposes of those when he is done with, “It okay to walk away.”

America, who told you that? The left is not full of radical socialists and anarchists. All that does is produce fear. Your news feeds pull out one or two clips and then they say, “See, there they are” and then you are hooked and deceived. The Deep State is a theory brought out in the 1980s that has no basis but in someone’s head and then lies have been built on it. Those who believe these concepts cannot define them with logic and facts. No one is coming after Christians, and public schools are not indoctrinating children. Ending abortion will not save America. Antiabortion movements were formed years ago as a front for multimillion dollar Christian groups who indoctrinated more than preached. It, of course, does not include all Christians, nor does it mean I am presenting a case either way.

So many today, instead of looking at facts think if I feel it, it must be true. We are better than this method. Instead of “Get your game on”, let us “Get our brains on”. Life is more than an experience. One day the Country and the Republican Party will be well again.
