• Wheaton Electronic Recycling: Wheaton’s next monthly electronic recycling drop-off event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 9 at Public Works Storage Yard, 820 West Liberty Drive, just east of the Wheaton Police Department.
Accepted items include: Computer monitors and televisions for $25 per screen smaller than 21 inches and $35 per screen 21 inches and larger) computers, laptops, printers, wires, VCR & DVD players, cable & converter boxes, cell phones, holiday light strings, cooking oil, fluorescent tube lights (no CFL light bulbs). Cash or credit card payments will be accepted at the drop-off (no checks). A tax-deductible receipt will be available at the time of drop-off.
