• Bolingbrook Hazardous Waste, Motor Oil & Electronics Collection Event: A collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23. All participants are asked to make an appointment at www.willcountygreen.com. Appointments will not be taken after noon, Friday, March 22. There is a limit of two televisions per vehicle and ID will be required.
• Sustainable Saturday Recycling Event in Lisle: The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 23 in the Benedictine University Rice Parking Lot at 5700 College Road. Participants must enter off Maple Avenue, west of Benedictine University. The Village of Lisle, Benedictine University, DuPage County, and SCARCE encourage everyone to bring electronics, household batteries, bicycles, building / hardware supplies, and textiles. TVs and monitors will be accepted at for a small fee ($25 – $35, depending on size).
