• Aurora electronic recycling: The city government of Aurora, in partnership with Will County, will be hosts to a free Electronics Recycling Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4 in the City public parking Lot X, 309 N. River Street. The event is open to Aurora residents only and ID is required. All items are free to recycle, including televisions, but registration is at www.tinyurl.com/AuroraRecycles2019 or by calling 630-256-4636. Each car is limited to five items in total, including two total screens, either television or computer screen. Items no accepted include large appliances, air conditioners, CRT tubes, dehumidifiers, household batteries, light bulbs, liquids, microwaves, smoke detectors, VHS cassette tapes, and medical equipment.
