Joey Logano and Martin Truex, Jr. raced side by side for the last three laps of the race. In the last turn Truex, Jr. was tapped by Logano and Truex, Jr. went sideways while Logano raced by for the victory. Before Truex, Jr. corrected his course, Denny Hamlin crossed the finish line for second place. In third place was Truex, Jr. in fourth Kyle Busch, and fifth was Brad Keselowski.

Kyle Busch won the pole position at the shortest track in series at .53 miles. Truex, Jr. had to start in the back of the field because he was penalized for not passing inspection.

Stage one was won by Hamlin over Logano and Kyle Busch. The winner of stage two was Logano over Hamlin.

Kyle Larson wrecked his car on lap 90 and Keselowski was in first place. Keselowski went into the pits with Logano right behind, but Logano’s crew finished their work quickly and Logano beat Kewselowki on to the track. Back on the track Logano battled Truex, Jr. until Logano tapped his way to victory.

This was Logano’s first victory at the track and he won the grandfather clock trophy.

With 12 laps left in the race Chase Elliott took over the lead with Busch and Larson close behind. Elliott held them off and took his third victory of the season. Following Elliott was Busch in second, Larson in third, Eric Jones in fourth, and Truex, Jr. in fifth.

The first stage was won by Logano over Harvick, but Harvick won the second stage.

A stop-and-go penalty was given to Harvick late in the race for speeding in the pits. This took him out of contention.
