Celebrating Earth Day, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, 834 N. Highland Ave. in Aurora, invites the public to view its expanded community garden from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 22.
The public is invited. Street parking will be available.
Community members are planting 2,000 tomatoes and pepper plants, with beans, peas, spinach, cabbage, collard greens and other healthy options, all to provide fresh produce to our pantry guests every week.
