
Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May Street in Aurora, will be host to an outdoor family movie night Friday, July 23.


The Church will screen “Moana,” a 2016 Disney Animation Studios release at 8 p.m. The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.
Refreshments will be available. A freewill offering will be taken.
Rated PG, the 107-minute film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Maui, a legendary strong-willed, yet easily annoyed, shapeshifting demigod. He sets off with Moana, strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti.
The 3D computer-animated musical adventure film takes inspiration from Polynesian myths.
