Mobile stroke units discussed at Rotary Club of Aurora

Ryan Keiler, stroke education coordinator with Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield shares information at the Rotary Club of Aurora meeting Monday at Two Brothers Roundhouse. He explained the advantages of available mobile stroke units which are ambulances with an embedded CT scanner, a specially trained crew, and wireless connection to immediately transmit the CT image to the hospital to cut door to treatment time.
