Montgomery Foundation presents three college scholarships

Three Montgomery students each is a 2018 recipient of $1,000 scholarships from The Montgomery Foundation. Kaila Brugger, a graduate of Oswego High School, is attending Carthage College; Megan Kill, a graduate of Oswego High School, is attending Loyola University Chicago; and Heather Marz, a graduate of Oswego High School, is attending Iowa State University.

Montgomery Foundation scholarships are awarded through an annual application process designed to recognize academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular activities, and community service within the Village of Montgomery.

The Montgomery Foundation will accept scholarship applications for 2019 from January 1 through April 15. Visit www.TheMontgomeryFoundation.com for more information and an application form.

In 2018, Rose E Krug Elementary School, McDole Elementary School, Lakewood Creek Elementary School and Nicholson Elementary School each received $500 grants from the Montgomery Foundation.

Members of the Montgomery Foundation Board of Directors are Steven Andersson, Marion Bond, Stan Bond, Matt Brolley, Richard Young, and Pete Wallers.
