‘Music of the First World War’ in Oswego

World War I has been called the most musical of all wars and attendees can find out why it is true during “Music of the First World War,” a special program at the Oswego Public Library District’s downtown Oswego Campus at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

This free program will be presented by the Oswegoland Heritage Association in partnership with the Oswegoland Park District and the Oswego Library District as part of the Little White School Museum’s commemoration of World War I’s centennial.

Music historian Andrew Bullen, a specialist in the digital humanities will compare and contrast the British and American experiences of the important year of 1916.

Pre-registration is recommended by calling 630-554-1010, but walk-in registration is welcome. The presentation is aimed at participants age 16 and older.
