‘Music’s Future’ Sunday, Jan. 21

“Music’s Future,” a concert by Fox Valley Orchestra and Chorus showcasing young musicians, will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Aurora University’s Crimi Auditorium, 1347 Prairie Street in Aurora.

The public is invited. Parking is free.

This concert will feature the orchestra’s 2023 Youth Concerto Competition winners and Collegiate Voice Competition winners! They will perform with the orchestra and chorus.

Stephen Squires conducts the orchestra, Lisa Fredenburgh is chorus master.

Scheduled performers are Eddie Zhou, Prokofiev “Piano Concerto No.3;” Julia Kim, Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto in E minor”; Sofia Radovic, Bruch “Violin Concerto in E minor”; Aurelia Faidley, Elgar “Cello Concerto in G minor”; Rebecca Clark, soprano, Proch “Deh! Torna mio bene”; and Ashton Jones, baritone, Handel “The Trumpet Shall Sound.”
